You need to start getting ready for PhotoCamp right now!
But how?
Well, think about the little things… do you have enough memory cards? You might be shooting for 12+ hours… Bring enough cards, or a computer/device to offload images if you don’t have enough cards. (But hey, cards are cheap! Why not buy a few more…)
And batteries! Do you have a spare battery for your DSLR, or AA’s or whatever your camera uses? Bring your charger just in case… you wouldn’t want a dead battery to ruin all your fun.
Gosh, what else should you bring? How about some masking tape and a sharpie to label all of your stuff (or better yet, do it ahead of time!) With 100+ people there, you’d hate to get your gear mixed up with someone else’s gear.
Also, it’s always good to bring a few bucks along… We’ll be providing meals, but The Quasi Cafe inside Bucketworks will have a variety of snacks and beverages on sale if you need something special.
Oh, and business cards, or moo cards, or at least a pen and some blank index cards… those always come in handy.
Also… very important… don’t forget your camera!
Any other suggestions?

Good shoes might be useful – no doubt a good ammount of walking and wandering to be done!
Sensible shoes. Some “vitamin I” for when my old bones get achy. Your ID in case people are going to indulge in adult beverages at any point in the adventure. A good bag for your stuff: Something you can carry all day and shoot out of. (I think I’m leaning toward my Domke super compact.)
